We are looking for a supervisor to assist the Museum Manager in the day to day operations of the Illusion Museum. You will make sure visitors will have a great experience with the museum's displays and activities in a friendly and welcoming environment.

Supervisor, Oxford Illusion Museum
Location: 133 High Street, Oxford
Hours: 28 hours per week with possibility of overtime
Salary: £25,000 pro rata, equivalent to £14.16/hour
Reporting to: Manager, Charlotte Waring
Purpose of role
You will assist the Museum Manager in the day to day operations of the Illusion Museum. You will make sure visitors will have a great experience with the museum's displays and activities in a friendly and welcoming environment.
Key responsibilities
- Make sure the Museum is a warm and welcoming environment for all visitors and staff.
- Leading the museum team alongside the Museum Manager.
- Making sure people are safe, including around fire, health and safety, and food hygiene.
- Serving visitors in different parts of the museum, including ticketing, demonstrations of the displays, and the museum cafe
- Any other duties reasonably required.

Experience within a museum or gallery setting is not required. We are excited to accept candidates who share our enthusiasm and team spirit. Training will be provided where required.

- Ensure staff are present and in good spirits
- Helping to run the shift rotations to engage with all exhibits and the museum cafe
