Ilex Studio is seeking a full-time Studio Manager to join our London studio. Founded in 2018, Ilex Studio creates objects inspired by nature, trees, plants and everyday rituals, encouraging people to engage more closely with the natural world through design. The studio works across product design, sourcing, production and research, collaborating with retailers, galleries and partners internationally. This is a varied and hands-on role suited to someone highly organised, practical and comfortable working across multiple areas of a creative practice. The position combines studio management, production coordination, logistics, scheduling and administration, while supporting the wider development of the studio and its ongoing projects. Responsibilities include overseeing the daily running and organisation of the studio, coordinating schedules and timelines across multiple ongoing projects, and liaising with fabricators, warehouses, printers, suppliers and the global sales team. The role also involves keeping track of stock and inventory, assisting with shipping logistics, trade fair planning and installations, organising couriers and customs paperwork, and helping maintain efficient production workflows. The Studio Manager will also help maintain studio records and archives, order materials and supplies, coordinate assistants and freelancers, prepare presentations and project documentation, and support photography, social media and research projects where needed. Caring for studio plants and growing displays also forms part of the day-to-day environment of the studio.
