Job Summary

Part time, 20-25 per hour depending on experience Working closely with the Director, you will bridge studio operations, creative project production and communications. You will help coordinate productions, develop partnerships and ensure Apiary’s voice and activities are visible across our channels

Job Description

Creative Production and Project Support
Assist in planning, producing and delivering Apiary led creative projects and events.
Support the Director with project organisation, schedules and delivery.
Help refine creative materials, presentations and proposals for clarity and polish.
Provide hands on support for production days, installations or events.

Marketing, Communications and Partnerships
Develop and implement Apiary's marketing and communications activity.
Write and coordinate newsletters, social media and partnership announcements.
Identify and engage with creators, partners and cultural organisations that align with Apiary's ethos.
Track creative and cultural trends, including what is happening on Substack and Patreon, and bring those insights into our messaging and programming.
Help grow awareness of Apiary's space hire, residencies and new membership studio.

Studio Operations
Coordinate studio calendars, bookings and member communications.
Maintain efficient workflows and systems across projects.
Support the smooth running of the studios on a day to day basis.

Job Requirements

Essential
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and copywriting abilities.
Marketing savvy with an understanding of creative promotion, social storytelling and audience development.
Cultural awareness and curiosity about independent creators and contemporary media platforms such as Substack and Patreon.
Confidence working across creative projects and events.
A self motivated, adaptable and collaborative approach.

Desirable
Experience in cultural production, communications or marketing.
Familiarity with London's creative and arts scenes.
Skills in content creation
Experience building partnerships or supporting artist communities

Job Responsibilities

Work with the Director to plan and deliver creative projects and events.
Lead Apiary's marketing and communications, including newsletters, social media, and outreach.
Develop partnerships and support the launch of the new members' studio.
Bring insight from contemporary creative culture into Apiary's storytelling.
Support Operations of studio bookings, schedules, and day-to-day coordination.
