The Producer is a key role in The Javaad Alipoor Company who leads on delivery of our ambitious projects, driving forward robust financial management, strategic project planning, reporting and evaluation, and stakeholder engagement.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced PRODUCER to join our team.
A key member of TJAC's core team, the Producer will lead on strategic delivery of our diverse range of ambitious and exciting new projects from 2026, including a UK tour, a new theatre commission, international development of new work, community projects and digital outputs.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, highly organised, solution-driven producer confident in managing projects from concept through to delivery. You will deliver TJAC's ambitous programme, acting as lead producer on the creation of original work for diverse UK and international audiences with a strong commitment to access and inclusivity.

Job Requirements

Accountabilities:

- Lead producing of TJAC projects, including original theatre, touring, workshops and events, overseen by the Artistic Director and Executive Director.
- Engage, develop and maintain excellent partner and stakeholder relationships.
- Ensure opportunities for talent development are identified across all projects.
- Line manage Assistant Producers, Facilitators, Trainees and Volunteers as required.
- Contribute to company financial management, supporting the Executive Producer through budget setting, tracking invoices, reconciliation and cash flow.
- Act as Green Team Lead ensuring the company meets sustainability, diversity and equality goals.
- Contribute to TJAC's overall impact and evaluation framework, reporting progress against the strategic goals of the company.
- Support the Executive Director to update company policies to reflect changing statutory requirements and industry best practice.
- Act as safeguarding officer and first aider on site.

Job Responsibilities

Project Producing
- Develop and manage project budgets and cash flow, ensuring income is maximized, targets are met, and expenditure is tightly controlled.
- Draft project deal memos and contracts
- Act as key point of contact for all creatives
- Lead on project schedules and milestones
- Manage a smooth casting process, including offers, call backs and negotiations.
- Oversee the Company Administrator to lead on artist liaison, including organising visas, travel and accommodation
- Ensure each project has the required technical support, and all tech riders and documents are up to date.
- Be key liaison with the venues
- Attend key meetings, tech sessions, press nights as required.
- Ensure project meets all compliance requirements.

Fundraising
- Identify and write project funding bids
- Lead on reporting and evaluation of projects.
- Support cultivating and managing relationships with a range of stakeholders

Comms
- Contribute to effective marketing and communication
