You will take charge of operations and provide project management across a number of current projects and new commissions. This role is focused on management, coordination, delivery and growth - not on the conceptual or visual design side. Part-time - 2 days/week (16 hours) with a view to increase as required* £160-180 p/d subject to experience (£27000-£30500 FTE) Initial 6-month contract (with potential to extend) Location: Brighton (This is an office based role in our central Brighton studio, working days / hours are flexible and some remote working may be considered) Days: Our regular working hours are Mon-Fri, 9am - 5pm. We consider a working day to be 8 hours and as such are happy to discuss a split of the initial 16 hours per week across 2-4 days to work around your other commitments. This is a minimum of 48 days in this initial 6 month contract. We anticipate that this role will support the company to increase our confirmed projects and as such there is an opportunity for the amount of days and the duration of the contract to be extended. This will be subject to agreement and your availability. Key Responsibilities Oversee and streamline operational systems, processes and workflow. Working with a team of freelancers across multiple projects and ensuring their effective use of company systems. Manage scheduling, resourcing and coordination across multiple projects, ensuring clear timelines, roles and responsibilities. Project delivery: manage budgets, contracts, suppliers/fabricators, logistics and stakeholder communications. Prepare presentations, reports and documentation for new and ongoing projects. Support the studio's business growth - research, identify and evaluate new project opportunities, partnerships and commissions - and support proposal/funding applications. Contract administration & finance tracking, diary and correspondence management, and high-quality documentation.
