You will work with flexibility and autonomy alongside a supportive team, with the opportunity to shape systems and programmes, and to further define the role as the organisation develops. Essential Desireable Building Operations: Oversee day-to-day running of the Soanes Centre and support building management with the Head of Education. Office Management: Maintain systems, policies and records; manage inboxes and communications; support finance admin and grant reporting with the bookkeeper; improve internal reporting for funding applications. Communications & Community: Update website and external communications; manage relationships with schools, partners and park stakeholders; represent Setpoint in local networks. Strategy & Governance: Support trustees with planning; attend quarterly board meetings and take minutes; provide updates to Chair and Board; gather information to inform programme development. Team & Culture: Support a positive, inclusive working environment and occasional team development activities. Setpoint is an outdoor education charity using science, art and gathering to connect our community with the natural world and processes of change. Since 1997, Setpoint has worked with local schools and groups from the Soanes Centre, an ecological field centre and community centre in Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park. At the core of our work is a programme of workshops with local schools serving more than 8000 school children each year.

- Organised and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Experience supporting operations, administration or project coordination.
- Understanding of basic financial processes (e.g. budgeting, reporting).
- Clear and confident communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to build positive working relationships with a range of stakeholders and work collaboratively.
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
- Experience working in a small charity or community organisation.
- Experience with communications or digital systems.
- Familiarity with UK charity structures and legal and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrable interest in environmental education, community work, or social justice.
