We are looking for an evaluation of Meet Me and the future of the programme, and for the research to combine reflection with foresight. We are not asking for a simple catalogue of activities or a safe retelling of what we already know. Instead, we want a rigorous horizon scan and a judgement-led analysis that identifies how the wider field is evolving, how others are responding, and what new opportunities those changes create for Meet Me. Brief: Evaluation and Research: The Future of Meet Me... Fee: £3,000 inclusive of travel, expenses and VAT Contract: Freelance Contract with Entelechy Arts Contract Start Date: January 2026 Final Presentation: June 2026 Working Arrangements: The position is a freelance role, and the working arrangements are that, flexible and remote working is available, including mutually agreed dates, for meetings and introductions at the Albany to meet with the wider team and relevant members. We expect the work to be carried out during the working week, Monday - Friday. 9am - 5pm. (This can be discussed in more detail with the selected candidate as to the full working arrangements for the project.) Key questions for the evaluation What significant structural, cultural, policy or contextual changes are taking place in creative ageing? How are other funders, organisations and practitioners responding to those changes? What models or practices look most promising? What risks should we be aware of as the field evolves? What are the most compelling opportunities and strategic choices for the next ten years? Approach A critical, evidence-led analysis - not a descriptive report. We want judgement and prioritised recommendations. A horizon-scan section showing emerging trends, brief case studies, funder responses, and plausible scenarios for the next 10 years. Case studies or examples that illuminate learning and illustrate alternatives (positive and negative). Challenge our assumptions. Surprise us with fresh perspectives, even radical ones, provided they are reasoned and practical. Final Findings The final findings of the evaluation and research must be presented in an accessible and inclusive format. This piece of work will be used by the Meet Me management team to make strategic decisions about next steps. It will also inform and shape discussions with our existing stakeholders including artists, members and volunteers. Please submit a copy of your CV, along with a proposal via our online platform. The Proposal should be no longer that 2 sides of A4 and can be uploaded as a Word or PDF. If you wish to submit a recorded version this must be no more than 5 minutes. Send your application via [email protected] with Meet Me Evaluation as the subject line.Job Summary
