Aspex Portsmouth is looking for a Marketing & Communications Manager to lead our marketing and communications, helping increase awareness, engagement, visitor numbers and income. This is a pivotal role, working closely with the Director and wider team to develop and deliver an effective marketing and communications strategy. You'll lead campaigns, PR and external communications, digital activity, website and social media content, audience development, research and reporting. You'll also manage the marketing budget and contribute to fundraising, advocacy and external partnerships. The role includes line management of the Gallery & Marketing Assistant, freelance staff, interns and volunteers, as well as coordinating the Marketing Working Group and taking part in the Duty Manager rota during gallery opening hours and special events. We're looking for someone with experience across marketing, communications, social media, PR and digital campaigns, with strong organisational, communication, visual and design skills. You'll be able to manage your own workload, work to deadlines, contribute creatively to the programme and understand accessible marketing and communications. Experience of fundraising/business development and line management is desirable.
