Job Summary

We are looking for proactive and collaborative House Technicians to join our team. This is a hands-on operational role that ensures the highest standards of technical delivery and customer service across all events at Kings Place, from performances and festivals to conferences and site visits.

Job Description

You'll be responsible for preparing and operating a range of technical equipment, providing first-line maintenance, and supporting the setup and delivery of events in our world-class venues. The role will also include supervising technical operations during shifts, acting as a key Duty Technician, and contributing to the upkeep and development of our technical infrastructure.

This is a fantastic opportunity for early to mid-career technicians with strong sound or lighting experience looking to expand their skillset across disciplines and gain high-level experience in a busy, artist- and client-facing environment.

The Person

You'll have relevant professional experience in technical theatre or live events and be confident in your core technical specialism (live sound and/or lighting). You should have a good knowledge of current control equipment and a willingness to learn across technical areas including AV, broadcast, and stage management.

You should be a reliable team player, comfortable working independently and under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to problem-solve and adapt on the fly.

A positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to work flexibly across a varied schedule of performances, rehearsals and events will be key to success in this role.
