Gallery Assistant (Part-time), CHARLES BURNAND GALLERY

We are looking for an articulate individual who thrives in a client-facing role and is driven by sales and has a natural ability to build relationships with collectors, designers, and artists alike.
This is a part-time role (2-3 days per week) including Saturdays.

Main purpose of the job
To support the Sales Manager in day-to-day sales activities
Key duties
Be the first point of contact for all incoming enquiries via email, telephone and gallery
Welcoming and assisting gallery visitors
Assisting with sales enquiries and client communications
Helping to maintain the gallery space and displays
Supporting events, private viewings, and exhibitions
Maintain client data in CRM system
General gallery administration and day-to-day assistance

Key results/objectives
Delivering sales plan through the gallery

Skills and experience required
Sales experience in gallery
Preferred experience of using Artlogic
Experience in working with artists
Art/design education/background

Salary: £28,000 per annum (full time equivalent), pro-rated to number of days.
