This is the opportunity for you if you want to get involved with supporting Harewood House Trust's Head of Fundraising to deliver the Trust's fundraising strategy, including raising funds for capital projects.

Job Description

We are seeking a Fundraising Executive, with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects to support the Head of Fundraising in the delivery of Harewood House Trust's fundraising strategy, including raising funds for capital projects.

With experience of working in fundraising, business development, marketing or a similar area, you will take these skills and support the work to enable the Trust to achieve it's revenue and capital fundraising targets and to deliver it's strategic and Masterplan objectives.

You'll work with the Head of Fundraising, Senior Management Team and senior stakeholders to build up meaningful relationships with funders and supporters, while researching funding opportunities, which are vital to our success. You'll seek out opportunities for funding and will write bids which help deliver the Trust's public engagement programme.

This role will involve supporting the growth of income from our charitable trusts, foundations and statutory sources and you will be involved in supporting wider areas of relationship management and fundraising. You'll have excellent relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to confidently communicate with stakeholders.

Key areas of the role include research and data management, content writing, supporter stewardship and administration.

Job Requirements

The Fundraising Executive will be responsible for research and data management, which will involve managing the funding pipeline, researching potential funders, application details and submission deadlines.

You'll be the team's Spektirx super-user (training will be provided) to ensure all donor information is kept up to date and is GDPR compliant. You'll engage with cross-working with colleagues to understand the programmes for funding and conduct research to build cases for support for projects and programmes.

This role requires the postholder to write draft proposals and presentations to support the Head of Fundraising. You'll provide research breifings for existing and potential individual supporters to assist in the development of our Patrons Scheme and our master stakeholder pipeline. The role requires you to work closely with the Marketing and Visitor Experience teams at Harewood House Trust to ensure that charitable messaging is consistent.
