Fellowship Associate This role is designed for someone who understands how artistic careers are shaped - whether through experience as a performer or through working within arts organisations. This role is designed to sit alongside an ongoing portfolio career. The successful candidate will: Key Responsibilities Build and maintain trusted relationships with Artistic Partners and Fellows, representing the Foundation and deputising for the Executive Director when required. Support the delivery of Fellowship programmes, oversee the Glenn Gould Bach Fellowship application process, maintain Fellows' performance records, and coordinate the annual PLF Gathering and other Fellowship events. Support the growth of the PLF community. Coordinate Board meetings, governance processes, Board papers and partner reports, maintaining accurate records. Work closely with the Executive Director to manage priorities, timelines and organisational continuity. Assist with developing Foundation policies, induction materials and governance documentation. Coordinate PLF Signature Fund projects, monitor reporting, maintain the Foundation's website and social media, support films and publications, versee Fellowship administration, reporting schedules, and respond to ad hoc operations. Contract: Freelance, Part-Time (12 hours per week)
Salary: £45,000 per annum pro rata (£13,500 per annum, paid quarterly)
Reporting to: Executive Director
Working closely with: Executive Director, PLF Fellows, Trustees, Finance Team and service providers
Probation Period: 3 months
As Fellowship Associate, you will contribute to the development and overseeing of a small number of highly tailored Fellowships, each created in close collaboration with partner institutions and designed to support exceptional artists at pivotal moments in their careers.
Alongside this, you will support the Foundation's wider work, including the annual PLF Gathering - which brings together Fellows, partners and collaborators - and the development of Signature Fund projects, which allow the Foundation to further support PLF Fellows with their Artistic Careers.
You will work across a network of artists and partners, helping to ensure that each Fellowship and project is thoughtful, well-structured, and genuinely impactful.
The work is precise and relational. It requires judgement, discretion, and an understanding of both artistic ambition and organisational context.
Some travel to Amsterdam and Weimar required.Job Requirements

Have good working knowledge of IT systems or the confidence to quickly adapt to new tools
Be able to create and maintain practical, efficient systems that support a small organisation
Have an awareness of the wider context in which artists and arts organisations operate, balancing artistic and organisational priorities
