Job Description

Formerly known as Kala Sangam, Bradford Arts Centre is a performance space, meeting place and creative home that spotlights the city's brilliant culture, set in the historic heart of Bradford city centre. We are seeking two experienced and enthusiastic Receptionists to join our team.

It is an exciting time to be joining Bradford Arts Centre as we establish ourselves in the city following on from a major refurbishment. You will provide excellent customer service to the visitors and customers of the centre and play a key role in supporting the smooth running of our events, creative spaces and performances. This is a hands-on customer facing role, and you will act as the front face of our organisation.

We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude - someone who is proactive and confident in taking the initiative and managing multiple tasks and timelines. You will be a strong team player and bring the skills required to support our busy staff team with administrative tasks in quieter periods.

Job Requirements

Excellent interpersonal skills; the ability to deal with customers, visitors, suppliers, and people at all levels.

Excellent verbal and good written English language skills.
Experience of using standard office IT software including email, Word and Excel.

Willingness to undertake necessary training for the post.

Job Responsibilities

Provide professional reception, customer service and administration support for
Bradford Arts Centre team, tenants and visitors.
Act as first point of contact for all telephone and visitor enquiries to Bradford Arts
Centre, responding to queries in a polite and helpful manner.
Operate the company's Box Office system, selling and reserving tickets as required.
Assist with room bookings at Bradford Arts Centre, dealing with enquiries from
prospective hirers and artists, offering advice and assistance on the rooms available.
Assist in the gathering of customer feedback, audience surveys and other information
as required.
Data entry and administration related to audience insights
Organise incoming mail & email, receive deliveries and ensure people are correctly
informed of deliveries in a timely manner.
Provide administrative support to the staff team as required.
Maintain client confidentiality and meet data protection requirements.
