Job Description

We'd like an artist to work with our Supper Club Ambassadors to co-design, and potentially make, a vessel that we can use to move about these spaces, a travelling tea service if you will. We don't want a huge piece of furniture, it needs to very easy to carry and set up, but in needs to consider the essentials.

Our programme values everyday domestic cultural opportunities, like sitting down to eat your tea together or making someone a coffee as a way to show care. Because of this, we are often making, growing and cooking together. We know we have participants who are interested in woodwork and hands on crafts, so we'd like to work together to make this object.

Job Requirements

We'd like, when fully stocked, to be able to cater for 50 people.

It needs to hold various teas, from builders to mint, tea spoons, cups (compostable cardboard), sugar, napkins, a table cloth, and most importantly a biscuit tin.

We are open as to how this structure is created but in needs to be beautifully produced, robust, light enough to move easily, and reflect the personality of the places and people involved.
