Description

Job Summary

Art in Offices is in need of an art consultant for their corporate clients. This role is for 3 days a week, for 12 months. Your role will be to work B2B, renting, loaning and selling work to businesses of all kinds.

Job Description

At Art in Offices, we enable companies of any size to buy, rent and rotate artwork. We believe passionately in the power of art in the workplace; how it increases wellness and productivity and makes people happier. Our clients are companies of all sizes and with budgets of all sizes, but each of them gets the bespoke treatment, to make sure they get the art that suits them.

This role is offered at £1218.80 per month (equivalent of London Living Wage pro rata) for 88 Hours per month (3 days a week) plus 25% commission on all sales made/business won. It would suit someone who is a recent graduate, or someone who wants a part-time role to work around childcare (or other roles or responsibilities) or someone returning to work from a career break. The role may expand and increase in hours over time.

The role of the junior art consultant will be to help the Director manage existing projects and win new business. We visit offices and talk to clients about the artwork that would suit their business, and clients will either buy, rent or rotate (the latter is most likely). Your role is to visit the clients and find new business, and send our clients pitch decks with suitable artwork, mocked up into the space, with fully costed budget proposals for each curation proposed.

As you will be in front of clients, you must be very presentable and personable, have a natural skill with sales, be willing to learn how to curate if you don't already, have strong maths skills for budgeting and managing profit margins, be diplomatic when working with all kinds of stakeholders, and have excellent customer service skills.

We work two days a week in Clerkenwell- Tuesdays and Thursdays, and ideally, you would work with us then too, so that you can shadow and work closely with the Director as much as possible. The rest of the time we work from home.

Interviews are scheduled for early October with a November start date.
