Contract: 12-month fixed term contract
Salary: £39,706 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week, 10am-6pm, evening and weekend availability required
Location: London Coliseum

We're looking for a proactive and highly organised Production Coordinator to join our team at the London Coliseum. In this pivotal role, you will support the Technical Operations and Commercial Programming teams in delivering an exciting and diverse programme of visiting productions, commercial events, and performances in one of the world's most iconic theatre venues.

As the key point of contact for visiting companies, you will play a vital role in ensuring productions are delivered smoothly from initial enquiry through to final settlement. Working closely with technical, production, commercial, and operational teams, you will coordinate logistics, manage stakeholder relationships, and help create an exceptional experience for visiting artists, producers, and partners.

This is an exciting opportunity for a collaborative and solutions-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced live events environment. Combining technical understanding with strong administrative and communication skills, you'll help maintain the London Coliseum's reputation for excellence while supporting the successful delivery of a varied and ambitious programme of work.

Requirements:

  • Experience in technical production, live events, or event coordination
  • Broad understanding of technical theatre disciplines within a producing or receiving house.
  • Practical understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation and experience in health and safety management
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, including CAD plans and ground plans
  • Strong organisational, administrative, and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships
  • Excellent IT skills, complemented by a proactive ability to learn and embrace new systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
  • Calm, solution-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Collaborative and approachable working style
