The Workshop & Facilities Coordinator plays a key part in enabling our talented makers to deliver high-quality builds across a wide range of exciting and varied projects - from immersive installations to large-scale props and set pieces.

Due to the nature of this role, it is full-time and based on-site at our workshop in Portslade.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, confident delegating and leading small teams.
- Computer literate, confident using Word and Excel.
- Experience with sourcing, negotiating with suppliers and tracking workshop budgets.

Job Responsibilities

-Oversee day-to-day cleanliness, organisation, layout efficiency and compliance with legal standards of Plunge's buildings and facilities.
-Collaborate with the production team to ensure project readiness and workshop availability.
-Track, arrange timely servicing, and maintain buildings, tools, machinery, equipment and vehicles.
-Coordinate and respond to emergency repair needs to minimise disruption to the workshop.
-Organise contractors for any machinery or maintenance tasks not done in-house.
-Conduct or delegate toolbox talks and regular H&S briefings.
-Develop, implement and maintain H&S policies with external advisors.
-Maintain COSHH docs and ensure compliance.
-Coordinate annual fire safety checks & PAT testing.
-Manage stock control, ordering, and replenishment of consumables, tools and fixings.
