Pottery Cafe Battersea is looking for a Part-Time Weekend Studio Assistant to join our small and friendly team on Northcote Road.

We are London's original decorating studio for bisque fired pottery, and offer a relaxed environment for people to paint a mug, enjoy quality coffee, and shop our extensive range of Jellycat toys and Emma Bridgewater pottery.

The contract is for 6 hours per week minimum, however, this is flexible and open to discussion to best suit the chosen candidate. The role is primarily for a Saturday or Sunday position, however there will also be occasional weekday, and evening shifts and additional shifts during busy periods and as cover.

Job Requirements

What We're Looking For:

- Great with people, friendly, confident, calm and genuinely warm.
- Strong customer service experience (hospitality highly desired)
- Reliable + organised
- Happy to work weekends, evenings and holidays
- Team player with great energy

Job Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

- Welcome guests and keep the studio atmosphere relaxed and friendly.
- Provide excellent customer service and give engaging painting demonstrations to customers.
- Keep the studio tidy, organised and well presented.
- Assist with collections (bagging/sorting) and studio organisation.
- Make and serve a range of delicious hot, cold and alcoholic drinks from our compact cafe/bar. (Any previous barista or bar work is desirable, but full training will also be provided to the successful candidate.)
