We are seeking an organised, client-focused and hands-on Venue & Events Manager to oversee the planning, coordination and delivery of events aboard London's famous Tudor ship. The successful candidate will manage the full client journey, from responding to inbound enquiries and conducting venue viewings through to planning, coordinating and delivering exceptional events. Working closely with clients, suppliers, freelancers and the wider team, you'll ensure every event runs smoothly and to the highest standard. This is a varied role combining event administration, client relationship management and operational delivery. You'll coordinate corporate hires, private parties, weddings, filming, music gigs, and other exclusive venue hires, taking ownership of every stage once an enquiry is received. As the ship operates as a museum during the day and an event venue in the evenings, you'll work closely with the daytime operations team to ensure smooth handovers, venue resets and seamless transitions between public opening and private hire. You'll also recruit, schedule and manage our freelance event team, coordinating staffing and suppliers while maintaining excellent customer service and operational standards. The role requires someone who enjoys working directly with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is happy to take a practical, hands-on approach to delivering memorable events. The position is full-time (40 hours per week) and includes regular evening and weekend working. Salary: From £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
