This role is perfect for a creative instructor who wants to introduce children to the joy of building and engineering with Lego. You'll lead fun, interactive sessions that build confidence and a love for creative problem-solving through engaging challenges and playful activities.
Dance&Arts is seeking a freelance Lego Club Instructor to lead a weekly afterschool club in a London primary school. The club is for children in Years 1-4 (ages 6-9).
- Lego Afterschool Club - every TUESDAY From 4:00 to 5:00 PM
- Starting on the 16th of September until the 16th of December
- In a primary school in London, Clapton area E5
- Kids are from Years 1-4 (6-9 years old).
- Pay is £35 per hour.
- A total of 14 hours of expected work. One hour per week.
- Materials are provided by the school.
- Proven experience in leading creative or STEM-based activities for children is preferred.
- Passion for working with children and young learners.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage students in a fun and structured way.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one before employment).
- Right to Work in the UK*.
- Professional qualifications or relevant teaching certifications (preferred but not required).
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in your area of expertise.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment for students.
- Develop students' skills, creativity, and confidence through interactive activities.
- Ensure lessons are structured, fun, and aligned with Dance&Arts' teaching philosophy.
- Maintain a professional and safe learning environment at all times.
