We'd love to hear from you if you're an experienced dance artist who has received training from a recognised school or conservatoire, and you have: *Excellent contemporary technique and contact improvisation / partnering skills As a key member of the creative team, your role will cover three main areas of responsibility: 1. Create, rehearse and perform Company repertoire (indoor venues / outdoor festivals) Whilst the role primarily involves working at Chameleon's home studio in Manchester, the successful candidate will also be expected to tour nationally and internationally throughout the year. Locations vary depending on the Company's touring schedule and projects taking place at that time. The successful applicants will be required to relocate to Manchester, if not already residing in the city. *At least two years experience working in a professional touring dance company
*Extensive performance experience
*Familiarity and openness to different choreographic approaches
*Proficient teaching skills and experience of teaching dance with different age groups
2. Assist Artistic Director and Rehearsal Director in choreographic and creative development of residencies/projects
3. Actively engage in the delivery of learning and participation programmes, delivering classes and workshops at our studio, in schools and an array of community settings
Contract: Full time 2 year contract
Location: Manchester, UK
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000
Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays
Hours: 35 - 43 hours per week
