The Deputy role plays a vital role in the day to day running of the box office operations, line managing a pool of casual ticketing staff and is responsible for ensuring the ticketing facility and website sales run smoothly at all times. This is a full time role based in our London venue, relocating during July and August to assist with the delivery of box office and ticketing services as part of Pleasance's operations as a major venue at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. They will work closely with the Ticketing & Box Office Manager, deputising for them and providing pastoral support for a team of fifty across public facing and artist focussed departments. The successful candidate will be equally confident in front-facing customer service environments as they are in administration and have a proven track record for delivering excellent customer care. They will be fluent in digital box office processes, reconciliation and sales tracking and lead by example with a pro-active solution, personable and focussed approach to problem solving.
