Description

Job Summary

AT The Bus is a growing charity that supports education, health and mental wellbeing in schools through small group art-as-therapy sessions. At this exciting time of development, we are now recruiting for a number of roles in Oxfordshire and London.

Job Description

Multiple roles available:

THERAPEUTIC ARTS MANAGER

THERAPEUTIC ARTS FACILITATOR

THERAPEUTIC ARTS TRAINEE

For the facilitator and manager roles, you must have worked in a relevant setting with children and young people for at least 2 years, ideally with some experience of complex needs.

Please read the job descriptions for further details (including salary) and apply for the role that best suits your current level of experience. There will be the opportunity to discuss the most appropriate role for you during the recruitment process.

We are looking for candidates to work flexibly across studios in either Oxfordshire (primarily Oxford city) or London. Roles are offered part-time (school term-time only) and are typically 2 days a week in the first instance (Monday - Friday) with the potential to extend in the future. We require paid staff to work a full 8-hour day 8.15am - 4.15pm on their days of work.

Exact working days and location depend on the specific role offered and will be explored as part of your interview(s). Please state your current availability (Mon-Fri) as part of your application.

Interviews: Shortlisted candidates will be contacted ahead of first round interviews.

As this post involves working with children and young people, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Start date: summer or autumn term 2026
