As a Senior Musician/Teacher you will support the Head of Centre by contributing to the shaping of our work in the Raploch and Fallin communities by demonstrating best practice in musical delivery, leading on trips and events, and responsibility for one of the following portfolio areas: learning & teaching, youth voice, priority families, pathways or community engagement. You will also provide leadership and support for Big Noise Musicians, enabling them to deliver the best outcomes for the children, young people and community members in the programme. This is a temporary post to cover a period of maternity leave and is offered on an all-year-round basis, working 4 days (28 hours) per week, Monday to Thursday. All applications should be received by Monday 12th May 2025 at 10.00am The selection process will be held in Raploch, Stirling (date to be confirmed) will include a panel interview, a competency task, a short audition and a demonstration lesson. All successful applicants will be subject to PVG check. You will have experience and success in taking on leadership roles and responsibilities, along with experience of problem solving and working in a dynamic/fast moving environment. You will also be educated to degree level or equivalent qualification and have professional performing experience. Working with large and varied groups of children and young people is essential, along with a track record of success in teaching children and young people on your specialist instrument.
