We are currently recruiting for an academy assistant to work primarily with our youngest students (aged 4-6). Ideally, you will have a love for the performing arts and some experience or training in a relevant area. Poppets is high-energy, educational and fun! The sessions are designed to encourage young children to develop performance and communication skills as they create and explore stories, songs, roles and situations through the use of acting, movement, music, voice, dance, and teamwork. Minimum working requirement is for 4 hours on a Saturday morning, from 9.15am for 4 hours. In addition, there is an option to work for a full day (7.5 hours, assisting with our full academy session). Preference to be discussed at interview. This is a minimum wage position, with hourly rate starting at £10 per hour, but dependant on age of successful applicant. PQA follows safer recruiting.
