Part-time Studio Supervisor role at London’s original paint-your-own-pottery studio. Lead busy weekend sessions, support café service and deliver excellent guest experience in our Fulham studio.

Job Description

Pottery Caf is London's original paint-your-own-pottery studio, established in 1998. Our Fulham studio combines a relaxed creative workshop environment with a welcoming caf atmosphere.

Permanent part-time weekend role (Friday-Sunday).

ÂŁ13.50 per hour (increasing Spring 2026).

We are looking for a confident and experienced Studio Supervisor to help lead the floor, support the management team and deliver an outstanding guest experience.

This is a hands-on leadership role within a creative hospitality setting.

Key responsibilities include:

Welcoming guests and maintaining a calm, organised and friendly studio atmosphere

Leading the floor during busy sessions

Supporting daily operations and smooth shift management

Training and supporting junior team members

Assisting with collections and studio organisation

Preparing and serving coffees and drinks during caf service

Supporting evening sessions and private events

Maintaining high presentation and cleanliness standards

This role requires someone who is comfortable balancing creativity, hospitality and operational responsibility.

Weekends, permanent role. Christmas and New Year closure (24 December - 1 January) every year.

Job Requirements

We are looking for someone who is:

Naturally warm, confident and calm with people

Experienced in hospitality or customer-facing roles

Comfortable preparing coffees and serving drinks (barista experience desirable)

Organised and reliable

Comfortable leading small teams during busy periods

Happy working weekends, evenings and peak holiday periods

Previous experience in caf , hospitality, retail or arts environments is highly desirable.

Job Responsibilities

Lead the studio floor during busy sessions

Responsible for opening and closing procedures, including cashing up and securing the studio

Deliver excellent guest service at all times

Support daily operations and shift management

Assist with collections, bagging and organisation

Maintain presentation and cleanliness standards

Prepare and serve drinks during caf service

Support private events and evening sessions

Help train and guide new staff members
