Job Summary

Circomedia is a world-renowned centre for contemporary circus and physical theatre based in the UK’s circus city of Bristol. We are seeking a dedicated Student Recruitment Officer to join our busy marketing team on a full time, permanent basis.

Job Description

At Circomedia, contemporary circus isn't just what we teach, it is at the heart of who we are. It is our mission to channel creativity through circus. In addition to our comprehensive training courses, we showcase bold and innovative live work at our city-centre performance venue, run a popular youth circus, lead recreational classes for all ages, take outreach projects into our local communities, and welcome our community into our space for special events. We are a registered charity, and we proudly advocate for and contribute to the UK's vibrant circus community.

We are seeking a dedicated and creative Student Recruitment Officer to drive awareness and engagement with our training programmes, focussing on our BTEC, Foundation Degree, BA and Diploma and short courses in Contemporary Circus and Physical Theatre.

Working closely with the Head of Marketing, you will play a key role in planning and delivering year-round student recruitment campaigns. You will be responsible for maintaining and updating our academic content across key platforms, from the Circomedia website to print materials and social media. You will arrange talks or demonstrations in schools and industry events and attend with students and/or teaching staff to represent Circomedia. You'll liaise with the students and teaching team to find and share the wonderful stories and images about students and the industry connections that make our training so special.

This role is ideal for a marketing professional with an interest or some experience in student recruitment or higher education. Your interest in arts education, performance and the power of creative communications will drive your work, from strategic planning and relationship building to copywriting and content creation, ensuring our unique training offer reaches and inspires prospective students.
