We are looking for our Street Team to help promote and support our shows for Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2024.

Are you: Passionate about comedy and the arts?

Looking to see some shows for free this Fringe?

Currently/will be living in Edinburgh?

Comfortable with approaching and talking to strangers?

  • Look no further! Gag Reflex are now hiring confident and friendly people to join our outstanding street team.

Gag Reflex are one of the biggest promoters at the Edinburgh Fringe! We produce comedy, cabaret, music and variety acts. We have 18 shows this Fringe ranging across 4 venues.

Job Requirements

Role
-Engaging with members of the public to promote and talk about our acts and their shows.
-Handing out flyers and being able to confidently recommend our shows.
-Increasing ticket sales
-Getting to know us, our acts and each other, and having fun at the Fringe!

Salary: Up to £12.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities

You need to be:

  • Living in Edinburgh for August 2024
  • Hard-working
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Passionate or have good knowledge of comedy and the arts
  • Flexible with working hours.
  • Willing to work in a very high-pressured, busy environment
  • Work well as a team
  • Confident enough to talk to strangers about our shows
  • Have a decent pair of shoes to keep your feet happy whilst you're working!
