Inspired by the Mangrove 9, the lived experience of the Windrush generation, the Race Relations Acts, and the Black Power movement, The Dream highlights Black British activism and community resilience. This new stage adaptation will celebrate the Windrush generation, cultural pride, and anti-racist history through theatre and storytelling, and will run alongside a curated exhibition for Windrush Day.
