Sound No 2, Melting Pot

1. To be actively involved in the running of the sound department and assisting the Sound Number 1.
2. To take responsibility for the radio mics during performances, including testing, fittings and show checks.
3. To assist with sound checks and ensure the smooth running of the show.
4. To attend technical and dress rehearsals to ensure awareness of the Sound requirements, and any resulting changes.
5. To create and encourage a supportive and positive backstage environment for the cast and crew.
6. To be an active member of the team, working to support and assist staff in all other departments and providing support and assistance as needed.
7. To represent the company with diplomacy, discretion and courtesy at all times, safeguarding all confidential information.
8. Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure the smooth running of the show.
9. To comply with all company policies and undertake any other reasonable duties as required by your line manager or senior management.
10. To ensure that any orders for goods or equipment are made on an appropriate purchase order form and approved by the Producer.
11. Attend get ins and get outs as required.
12. Comply with all Producer and venue policies on Social Media, Equal Opportunities, Harassment, Smoking, Alcohol, Drugs and Health and Safety.
13. Carry out any other duties reasonably required in the course of your work or as instructed by the Producers and Company Stage Manager.
