The Sound No 1 plays a critical role in ensuring the successful operation of the sound systems for each performance. This position involves the mixing the show, setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all sound equipment. Dates - Monday 9th November 2026 - Saturday 27th February 2027 Performance Schedule Christmas Schedule. Rate of Pay - £875 per week buy-out contract based on max 40 hour, 7 show week including Sunday. PAYE contract. Holiday pay is accrued and paid at the end of the run. Operate sound for all performances.
Maintain and troubleshoot sound equipment, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly and managing repairs or replacements.
Works with and line manage Sound No 2.
Communicate with CSM, ASM and other members of the production team to ensure all technical requirements are met.
Liaise with suppliers.
Attend rehearsals and technical rehearsals.
Operate Sound during rehearsals.
Support Production Sound engineers on the installation of equipment.
Clears the stage and orchestra area of all sound equipment after the final performance.How to Apply
