Job Summary

Pentabus is seeking a Sound Designer to work on two exciting projects this summer. In June we will stage our first Youth Theatre production – Tuesday by Alison Carr. And in July we will produce Raw, a programme of eight short new plays by this year’s Young Writers.

Job Description

If you have at least 2 years of professional theatre making experience working as a sound designer, and enjoy working in a hands-on way, we would love to hear from you.

We are particularly keen to hear from Sound Designers based 'local' to Pentabus - this may include (but not limited to) Shropshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, the Marches, Birmingham, Staffordshire, Gloucestershire, Cardiff and the Welsh borders.
Fees: £185/day + Subs, travel and accommodation

Job Requirements

It is expected that the Sound Designer will commit 8-9 days across both productions. Attendance on the following dates is required as a minimum:

Tuesday

Get-in / Tech/Dress: Friday 12 June
Performances: Sat 13 June

Raw

Rehearsals 1-2 days (including Mon 6 July)
Tech/Dress Tue 7 & Wed 8 July
Shows Wed 8 & Thurs 9 July
