We’re seeking a creative and proactive person who is at the start of their career to develop content for our social media platforms - which will help support our business mission by expanding our reach and engagement with our audience online.

Job Description

Manage the scheduling of content across Last Looks Beauty social media channels. We currently use Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Linkedin.

3 posts per week, including some stories posting. This is a remote job with some scheduled dates to get content - travel will be covered for public transport.

£200 - £400 per month based on 5 -10 hour work weeks (this may vary).

Job Requirements

  • Experience creating and scheduling content for Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn (professional or self-managed portfolios accepted).

  • Basic understanding of social media best practices, trends, and engagement strategies.

  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and engaging copy.

  • Comfortable repurposing information from press releases, articles, and brand materials into social-friendly content.

  • Ability to manage a content calendar and deliver posts on schedule.

  • Willingness to travel locally on set dates to capture content

  • Confident engaging with online communities, responding to comments, and interacting with relevant accounts.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle small administrative tasks as needed.

  • Ability to work independently as role is fully remote.

Job Responsibilities

The role involves planning, scheduling, and publishing weekly content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn, as well as capturing behind-the-scenes material on agreed dates. You'll create and edit short-form videos, photos, and graphics, draft copy for posts using information from press releases and internal materials, and repurpose existing content for different platforms. You'll maintain the content calendar to ensure consistent posting, monitor comments and messages, and engage with the wider Last Looks Beauty community. The role also includes identifying opportunities for interaction, tracking basic performance insights, and supporting small administrative tasks linked to social content. Collaboration with the content team is essential to keep messaging aligned, and you'll be encouraged to contribute proactive ideas that support growth and online engagement.
