Singing & Musical Theatre Teacher
Shooting Star Theatre School
Wythenshawe, Manchester
Hours: Minimum 2 hours per week (Musical Theatre class) + 7 private singing lessons (with opportunity to increase hours)

Shooting Star Theatre School is a vibrant and inclusive performing arts school dedicated to helping young people grow in confidence, skill, and creativity. We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive and inspiring environment where every student can shine.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Singing & Musical Theatre Teacher to join our team. This role includes delivering engaging Musical Theatre classes and providing high-quality one-to-one singing tuition.

There is excellent scope to grow within the role, with opportunities to take on additional private students and expand class teaching hours.

Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver fun, engaging Musical Theatre classes for children and young people
* Teach weekly private singing lessons, tailored to individual student needs
* Support students in developing vocal technique, performance skills, and confidence
* Prepare students for performances, showcases, and potential exams
* Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
* Communicate effectively with parents and the wider team

Requirements:
* Experience teaching singing and/or MT to children
* Strong vocal knowledge and technique
* Ability to inspire, motivate, and build confidence in students
* Reliable, professional, and organised
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
* Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential with strong experience
