Job Description
Pitches are now open for the inaugural Shore Things at The Mowlem. An afternoon and evening of work-in-progress performances by Dorset artists of all disciplines.
We're looking for 3 new 15-minute pieces of unfinished work that would benefit from an audience and receive feedback.
We welcome:
- Written: Plays, monologues & duologues
- Movement: Dance, puppetry
- Spoken Word: Poetry, rap
- Music: Classical, contemporary, musical theatre
- Multidisciplinary work: contributions that mix mediums, disciplines and perspectives across all of the above
If chosen, pieces will receive:
- £150 paid towards expenses
- 75-minute rehearsal slot with minimal tech support on the morning of the performance
- Audience feedback & a chance to chat about your work after the sharing
We are accepting submissions from across Dorset with a special focus on the Purbeck area.
