We're a purpose-led organisation partnering with schools to bring inspiring creative art sessions to children. Our model connects schools with skilled freelance artists and educators. PressPlay is seeking an experienced Sewing/Clothesmaking Tutor to facilitate a joyful, process-led after-school club. Sessions are centred on play, exploration, and confidence-building, supporting children's creative and emotional development. The club introduces children to the fundamentals of clothesmaking in an accessible and engaging way. Using hand sewing techniques (no machines required), children will be guided through creating a simple textile piece from a provided pattern. The emphasis is on learning through doing-building skills, confidence, and a sense of ownership as each child works towards completing their own piece. Pay: £35/h. Time: 3:45pm - 4:45pm every Tuesday Dates: 21st April to 7th July Location: N16 (Stoke Newington) You must be registered as self-employed and able to invoice monthly for your work. - Strong sewing / clothesmaking skills (especially hand sewing) Essential.
