Based within the Stage department, this role works to oversee lifting operations within a particular venue, whilst supporting work across the organisation. You will take an active role in the planning and management of show-related lifting operations in consultation with the Lifting Operations Supervisor, production managers, the drawing office and the workshops teams, ensuring that operations are conducted safely and efficiently from design through build, and to on-stage realisation. Job Description
- Professional, large-scale theatre or live event experience at a senior level in a flying/rigging capacity
- A thorough working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation including LOLER, with the ability to assess and control risk effectively
- Industry-recognised training and certification in rigging, stagecraft, and Health & Safety
- Proven competence in working at height, e.g. using access and fall protection equipment
