Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced freelance Senior Producer and Public Art Consultant, or a company to lead on the delivery of the 21 Neighbourhood Artworks programme. Contract Type: part time (0.6 FTE) PAYE (also open to freelancers, organisations or artist collectives)

Job Description

21 Neighbourhood Artworks is a borough-wide series of public art commissions for London Borough of Culture (LBOC) 2027 - Haringey, a Mayor of London cultural initiative. It will feature a series of murals and installations across all 21 wards in the borough reflecting the name and character of the neighbourhood it represents. These artworks will act as a gentle reveal and intention-setting moment, building anticipation and cohesion for the London Borough of Culture 2027 in Haringey.

Installed on visible yet under-appreciated surfaces, the artworks create a borough-wide trail of cultural landmarks, reinforcing local pride and celebrating the distinctiveness of each neighbourhood. These commissions will create opportunities for skills development and meaningful community participation, enhance the public realm and embed culture into everyday journeys, support placemaking, visibility and belonging while fostering shared ownership, connection and pride within the communities.

This project will be developed and delivered in partnership with Haringey Council between May 2026 - May 2027.
