This vacancy specifically involves managing ongoing delivery in criminal justice settings in the North region with potential for scale up of delivery across the South region using research dissemination to promote interest. Music in Criminal Justice sits inside complex systems (prisons, hospitals, commissioning structures) but it is, at heart, an arts-led, relational programme. This role is not just about scheduling. The Project Manager focus is to deliver projects, improve internal delivery / monitoring systems, strategic alignment and processes to support positive outcomes for participants and make a positive and effective contribution to social justice and health inequalities through access to high quality creative activities. You relish the chance to envision projects that have the potential to produce system change within the arts, health and social care. Your role includes supporting and helping, as well as challenging and encouraging. You want to know everything that is happening, and you use your initiative to troubleshoot problems before or when they arise, but not to micro manage. You're passionate about seeing how the details add up to a significant positive impact on people's lives. You will have a Producer mindset to proactively manage : Day to day project management of key funded and internal project/s. Contribute your knowledge and experience to development of bids, proposals and contracts. Set up, motivate, empower and manage project delivery teams, to deliver project outputs and meet contracted targets. Chair effective and productive project meetings and feed into whole team meetings. Create and communicate detailed reports to commissioners. Identify dependencies and potential conflicting business requirements across the project portfolio and work, with colleagues across hoot to resolve them. Set up proportionate and effective project governance and reporting structures to produce accurate delivery schedules, resource plans, budgets and exception reports for all projects.
