Project Manager - IWM London Masterplan, Imperial War Museum

We're seeking a dynamic Project Manager to be a pivotal force in IWM London's ambitious 2025 Masterplan projects: the role will be crucial in delivering these initiatives, ensuring alignment with IWM's vision and objectives.

Specifically, we are seeking an experienced and effective Project Manager to work on two key strands at IWM London which are: identifying opportunity spaces and their best uses, based on known constraints and audience insights; and developing a strategy for the two Galleries post-2025, creating space for visitor growth and trialling new exhibition and commercial activities.

Roles and responsibilities will include:

• Managing multiple projects within the Masterplan programme from inception to delivery, including the decant, strip-out, and base build of galleries at IWM London.
• Supporting the Head of Masterplan in developing creative solutions for the dynamic live site, including research and understanding operational and logistical challenges.
• Developing and maintaining positive and constructive relationships with Historic England, the Local Planning Authority, and local partners.
• Creating contract briefs and tender specifications, assisting with the appointment of consultants and contractors, and overseeing their work on site
• Managing and monitoring project schedules, plans and budgets
• Maintaining accurate records, providing forecasts, and complying with IWM procurement policies.

The ideal Project Manager candidate will have a proven track record in effective project management, meeting quality, time, and budget criteria; and a strong understanding of standard project management processes, controls, and documentation.
