Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of the team at Britain's longest established and world-famous conservatoire for filmmakers. The school, now approaching its 70th anniversary, is based in Covent Garden in the heart of London. LFS alumni include some legendary lighting camera people (Roger Pratt, Tak Fujimoto) as well as celebrated directors (Mike Leigh), also actors (Danny Huston), and award winning editor Yorgos Mavropsaridis; as well as producers and executives across the industry.

The LFS is one of only two film schools in the UK to have received 'world leading' institution status and funding from the Office for Students.

We currently have a part-time role for a Programme Administrator to support the smooth running of our MA Filmmaking (MAF) course. The successful candidate will be the main point of contact within the School for our MAF Course Leader, Deputy Course Leader, Visiting Lecturers, industry guests and students. Duties will include purchase order and invoice reconciliation support, communication of the weekly schedule, supporting the management of our student virtual learning environment pages (Moodle), taking minutes at meetings, supporting the student submission process and updating and tracking data. You will also set up meetings for curriculum-related events and regularly liaise with the Course Leader and Academic Programme Manager and other school colleagues, to ensure the smooth running of the MAF course.

If you have worked within an educational organisation, have excellent administrative and communication skills and can liaise effectively with staff at all levels, together with good IT skills, including the ability to administer a CRM system and create/present statistical reports on Excel, we would love to hear from you
