The Production Assistant will support the delivery of Niche Productions Group's portfolio of immersive, experiential and live entertainment projects across the UK and internationally. Working closely with senior production, technical and general management teams, the role offers hands-on exposure to complex site specific builds, live operations, and commercial productions from early planning through to opening and running. This is a practical, fast paced role suited to someone ready to take on responsibility and grow quickly. The Production Assistant will assist both our Production and General Manager. The role is office based with the potential for remote working and travel. Occasional evening and weekend working aligned with build schedules, rehearsals and live operations. Successful candidates will have at least 2 years' experience working in a professional theatre, live events or immersive production environment - supporting productions through pre-production, build, rehearsals and live operation. Working knowledge of production processes, scheduling and coordination across multiple departments. Experience liaising with freelancers, contractors and suppliers in a professional setting. Can work to tight deadlines in fast paced, time critical environments. Confidence in communicating clearly and confidently with a wide range of stakeholders, including creative teams, crew, venues and clients, ensuring updates are accurate, timely and appropriate to the situation. Open to working evenings, weekends and irregular hours in line with production schedules. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. Proactive, reliable and professional approach when representing an organisation externally.
