Description

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced producer/bid writer to take our show from workshop to R&D and develop for commission.

Job Description

  1. Secret Sides of Us is a new musical co-created by disabled Midlanders.

The story, characters and concept were created by disabled co-creators from the Midlands. The show has been written and brought to life in workshop by a professional creative team and cast.

The co-creators told their stories, and created disabled heroes which show the unseen side of disabled life: the victories, the joys, the triumphs without shying away from the hardships and challenges. The show explores how different disabled voices can be amplified in modern Britain: through art, social activism, or small kindnesses.

Current Team:

Book, Music and Lyrics by Scott McHurley

Directed by Caroline Wilkes

Musical Direction by Robyn Saunders
