The story, characters and concept were created by disabled co-creators from the Midlands. The show has been written and brought to life in workshop by a professional creative team and cast. The co-creators told their stories, and created disabled heroes which show the unseen side of disabled life: the victories, the joys, the triumphs without shying away from the hardships and challenges. The show explores how different disabled voices can be amplified in modern Britain: through art, social activism, or small kindnesses.
