This is a key role which is busy and varied, liaising with actors, creatives, technical teams, venues, co-producers, and other colleagues both internal and external; and working across multiple projects simultaneously. The Producer's role is to line produce Norwich Theatre productions both in Norwich and on tour, ensuring all Norwich Theatre productions are running on time and to budget. The role plays a key part in the planning and delivery of a high quality, inspiring and accessible programme of produced live and digital performance, for Norwich Theatre and on tour. Further information is available in our recruitment pack which can be downloaded via the link below Support the Head of Programming & Producing in the planning and delivery of all produced work, line producing nominated Norwich Theatre productions as required; including tours and pantomime, artist and agents liaison, administration, contracting and welfare of artists and creatives, booking of rehearsal spaces, working to and preparing agreed show budgets and schedules and keeping appraised of all industry standards. Lead on the creation of production budgets and schedules as directed, and then take managerial responsibility for running those production budgets/schedules when approved. Ensure a range of engagement and wraparound activities, and access performances where these are not fully integrated into the production, are included within Norwich Theatre Productions. Ensure Norwich Theatre Productions are diverse and include Black, Asian and Global Majority artists, LGBTQIA+ artists, and D/deaf, disabled & neurodivergent artists.
