The Playground Digital Marketing & Administration Officer will support the delivery of Playground, our highly successful initiative for young children and their families in Kent.

Job Description

Part-time freelance position offering a competitive rate of £20 per hour.

The role is expected to require up to 15 hours per week split equally across Monday to Friday.

Initial length of contract: 12 months.

Job Requirements

The Playground Digital Marketing & Administration Officer will support the marketing and administration of Playground creative engagement work. This is a wide-ranging role which requires a high level of independent working together with an excellent attention to detail.

This role would suit someone with previous marketing and administration experience in a creative organisation.

This is predominantly a remote working opportunity. However, attendance at some Playground sessions, meetings, and event will be required and therefore the ability to travel to locations across the whole of Kent is essential.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Support the creation and dissemination of digital assets and print requirements.

  • Support Playground's social media presence including content creation and responding to queries.

  • Provide support for updating Playground's website and ticketing system.

  • Support the marketing requirements for the Playground Festival.

  • Monitor and respond to queries about bookings.

  • Monitor and respond to Playground's general email inbox and other enquiries.

  • Provide administrative support as required, including meeting coordination and note-taking for Playground team meetings and the Playground Advisory Board.

  • Record and keep up to date attendance reports and support the submission of these as part of monitoring requirements.

  • Support the ordering and distribution of Playground materials, and record related expenditure.
