Job Summary

We are hiring for a personal assistant to a disabled individual, himself seeking work in post production, with his care team, based in his home.

Job Description

We are looking for someone who is reliable, patient, able to work within a team environment, and have a good sense of humour.

No experience is necessary and full training is provided as the main focus of the job is a good rapport with individual and a good team fit.

Part time hours of 18-24 hours per week across 2 days, predominantly weekends, at £16.37 per hour, with some overtime availability throughout the week to cover sickness and holidays. Alternate full weekend working availability is necessary. Sleeping nights are also occasionally available but not required.

Job includes a pension scheme, paid annual leave and other benefits.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to work well within a team.
  • Have good awareness and be able to adapt to different situations.
  • Please note the job is based in the southwest London so it would be preferable that applicants are within a reasonable commute, but it's not a deciding factor.
  • Interested in politics, arts, sports, film & TV is a bonus.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist on outings to galleries, exhibitions, the cinema etc.
  • Requires all aspects of personal care on a day to day basis, which include: washing, changing, showering, toileting, assisting with meals.
  • Full training will be provided in situ.
