Performers - 'Chrysalis' R&D, Clearwater Creation

Clearwater Creation are seeking to connect with Performers ahead of our ACE funded R&D of 'Chrysalis', a theatre / cabaret work about eating disorders (EDs).

One of the key gestures in the show is the presence of three ED 'Deities' - figures who embody the relationships between ED sufferers & their disorders. The show keeps one foot in the realm of the absurd, with this playful form balancing the weight of the subject matter.

We'd like to connect with artists from across the spectrum of performance; actors, cabaret artists, theatre-makers and everyone in-between.

This is an ED survivor-led project. We are not interested in presenting literal, explicit, harmful or triggering material. Performers are not expected to have had any experience of the subject matter, but if they have they are free to disclose this.

Dates: 10th - 14th November 2025

Fee: £601 / week (ITC Rate)
