The role will work across the HR team to support a great range of different activities and stakeholders, but the main focus will be on supporting our staff inductions, volunteering and early careers activity and general office administration. 20% of your time will be spent studying for the apprenticeship (both alongside our apprenticeship provider and through independent study) the remaining time will be spent working the role. To succeed in this role, you should be organised, effective and proactive - always looking ahead and on top of your workload. You should be interested indeveloping skills and knowledge related to any area of Human Resources, administration or communications (or ideally all of these!). It's essential that you're eligible to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship - this means: Previous experience of working in a museum is definitely not required - in fact, we'd love to hear from your even if you don't have any work experience or you don't have any academic qualifications beyond GCSE level. We're looking for someone with the ability to respond well to a varied workload, to ask questions and learn on the job, and to be an engaging communicator and internal representative for the HR department. This could all be evidenced through voluntary experience, experiences in education, or anything else you think might be relevant.
