Job Summary

This is a remarkable opportunity to contribute to the growth of a rapidly expanding and unique organisation, the Institute of Art and Ideas (IAI).

Job Description

Described by the Guardian as 'the return to big thinking' and by Total Politics as 'Europe's answer to TED', the IAI is responsible for IAI.tv, and puts on events throughout the year.

Access to IAI.tv is currently provided via subscription direct to consumers as well as corporations, universities, and schools across the globe. We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic individual to expand the access of IAI content by identifying and securing new partnerships with organisations, patrons, and educational institutions. As a Partnership Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving the sales activity of the team, and for the delivery of partner activations around our dynamic events programme and our digital awareness campaigns. In addition to developing new partnerships, you will also be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with our existing subscription partners, ensuring continued engagement and long-term collaboration.

An ideal candidate would have a minimum of 2 years' experience in sales, a successful fundraising team or at a Publisher, with experience in project or small team management within a busy working environment. You will have experience originating partnerships for events or organisations, and a solid understanding of the sales skills required to generate significant financial results. With a commercial mind-set you will be ambitious, goal-oriented, and have the force of personality, charm and charisma to make things happen. You will have a keen and lively interest in the IAI's content and events programmes and will utilise your experience to grow and develop our presence within the ideas market. All candidates will need to have a strong educational background (min. 2.1) from a top university.
