A busy plastic waste artist seeks a part-time Studio Assistant to help with various tasks in the studio. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is ready to jump in and get hands on. The Role This is a very physical role where you'll assist with a variety of tasks in a creative studio. Your responsibilities will include: * Organizing and tidying the studio and art materials. * Using various tools to assist the artist with the artistic projects. * Creating and finalizing social media posts for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. You should have some experience with these platforms. * Supporting the artist during upcoming workshops in schools and the wider community. You will receive training for this. Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate is a quick-thinking, self-starter who can work independently. You should be fit and well, as this role requires you to be on your feet for most of the day. Previous experience with photo/video editing and camera work is a plus but not essential, as training will be provided. Important Details * Hours: 4 hours per week with the possibility of increasing to 8 hours. * Immediate start required. * £15 per hour * The work involves handling tools such as cutting knives, scissors, irons, and heat presses. Safety equipment, including a mask for work in the plastic studio, will be provided.
